Words can scarcely describe the overwhelming love that God has for us.. for me. He shows me his unfailing love, grace, and compassion every day. When I think about just how blessed I am I realize that the more I search Christ whole-heartedly the more my heart finds peace, rest, healing, comfort, and fulfillment. The Lord is teaching me more on how to unselfishly transform my ways into those equivalant of a Proverbs 31 woman.
"She is clothed with strength and dignity, She can laugh at the days to come. She speaks with wisdom, and faithful instruction is on her tongue."(Proverbs 31:25-26) By studying and following Gods examples of what a true woman of God is like I am learning what true beauty should look like..and by having a selfless faith in God he has made me thirsty for more of his uncondional love. I have learned that the only true, and fulfilling love I'll ever find is in a divine romance with Christ.
- She loves the Lord her God with all her heart, soul, mind, and strength. She has a relationship with God. (Deut. 6:5)
- She fears the Lord. She has a high reverence and fear of God. (Prov. 31:30, 1 Peter 3:2)
- She is loyal. (1 Peter 3:5b, Prov. 5:18)
- She has a submissive heart. She is willing to place herself under her husband (Eph. 5:22-33, Col. 3:18, 1 Peter 3..)
- She is a helper. (Genesis 2:18-25)
- She is Trustworthy. (Prov. 31:11)
- She brings her husband good, not harm. (Prov. 31:12)
- She is compassionate toward the needy. She reaches out to them. (Prov. 31:20)
- She does not place her focus on her outward appearance. (Prov. 31:30, 1 Peter 3:3)
- Instead, she is focused on the beauty of her inner heart...who God wants her to be. (1 Peter 3:4-5)
- She is pure and holy. (1 Peter 3:2, Prov. 31:10)
- Mentally and Emotionally stable. (Prov. 31:25b, Phil. 4:6-8) (Her husband trusts in her.) She does not worry about the future, but SHE CAN LAUGH AT THE DAYS TO COME.
How amazing is it women in Christ, that our God has given us an example of such a woman that we may eventually attain all of these godly attributes [not selfishly, but for the glorification of God]? He gave us all the capacity of wisdom to strive for her beauty.
.......And the greatest of these is love.

Worry, like faith, a spiritual battle..
Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own." -Matthew 6:34
God never intended us to carry tomorrow's burdens along with today's. Most the stuff we worry about never happens anyways or turns out better then we anticipated. Worry, like faith, a spiritual battle.... attracts the very same things we fear, clouds our judgement and distorts our perspective.
Replace it-->"Whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable, if anything is excellent or praiseworthy, think about such things." - Phillipians 4:8
Dissect it--> "Fear involves torment" -1 John 4:18; "fear torments you; your imagination runs amok, conjuring up all kinds of scary scenerios. But it's also illogical; when you take it apart rationally and systematically, it loses it's power to control you."
Rise above it--> "But those whose hope is in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint." -Isaiah 40:31
"So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen youand help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." - Isaiah 41:10
"As you know, we consider the blessed those who have persevered...... The Lord is full of compassion and mercy." - James 5:11
"If you look for me whole-heartedly, you will find me"
"Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go." - Joshua 1:9
